In 2010, EIB lending in Bulgaria totalled EUR 115 million. Over the past five years (2006–2010), the Bank pledged to provide funds totalling EUR 1.9 billion to finance investment projects related to Bulgaria’s economic development and expects to play an important role in supporting the country’s investment needs in the future.
