
EIB basic salaries are determined according to the level of responsibility of the job. This corresponds to a set of internal bands described in a salary scale. This scale covers functions K to C, i.e. the support, professional and middle management staff. The salary scale is applied to all jobs across the EIB to ensure internal equality of pay. The basic salary scale constitutes Annex 1 to the Staff Regulations.
