In view of the increase in the activities of the European Investment Bank and the numerous additional tasks entrusted to it, the EIB's Management Committee has decided to increase the size of the Bank's headquarters in Luxembourg by constructing a new building in the immediate vicinity of its existing premises on the Kirchberg plateau.
