The EIB is taking part in the 6th World Water Forum in Marseilles, the world's largest meeting on water. Every three years since 1997, the World Water Forum mobilises creativity, innovation, competence and know-how in favour of water.
Addressing water resources management, drinking water and sanitation issues is paramount for achieving growth that is both socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable.
The EIB will take part in a high-level panel discussion on financing water and sanitation. The EIB is coordinating the Forum activities concerning the theme “Financing Water for All”, in cooperation with the Agence Française de Développement. EIB is organising or speaking in numerous technical sessions under this and other themes, including water and climate.
